Any nationality visiting Myanmar requires a visa to Myanmar except 2 weeks Visa Free for following ASEAN countries:

• Brunei Darussalam
• Cambodia
• Indonesia
• Laos
• Philippines
• Thailand
• Vietnam
• Singapore

• Duration of the stay: 28 maximum days.
• Duration of the visa since the date of emission: 3 month.
• Tariff: 50 USD
• An original photograph stuck on each layer of the request for visa and the "arrival form ".
• "Arrival form ": 1 specimen + photo
• Request for visa: 2 specimen + original pictures.
• Extension: If it is possible to extend (but not so easy), you can be over stay and pay 3$ a day.

Visa can be obtained at any of Myanmar Embassy or consulates general. Most Myanmar Embassy has website and visa application form can be downloaded on line. If there is no Myanmar Embassy at your home country, Bangkok is the best place to get your visa to Myanmar. It will take only 2 full days to get the visa there.

All international Travelers can use E-Visa system and can apply E-visa by the website of http://www.evisa.moip.gov.mm/. The E-visa charge will be 50 USD per person by credit/debit card and it will be non-refundable (if your application form was rejected). You will get the answer (accepted/non-accepted) for your application within one hour. Then processing time will be Maximum 5 working days to get E-Visa if your application form is being accepted.

For foreigners using E-visa, please ensure the following must be completed and prepared for verifications at Immigration counters:-

• Completely filled arrival card
• Valid passport (with at least 6 months validity)
• Valid entry visa issued by relevant Myanmar Embassy.(must not be a used visa)
• Foreigner entering with various visa issued by relevant Myanmar Embassy aboard shall be permitted stay period shown in visa, Extension of stay period shall be, if desired, applied to Ministry of Immigration and Population with recommendation of relevant Ministry.

Tourists with ordinary passport from following countries will be granted at Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport, and Naypyidaw International Airport for one year, effective from 1st October 2019.

• Each person will be charged 50 USD, and is allowed to stay for a maximum of 30 days.
• Tourist visa will be granted to tourists who are in Myanmar for the sole purpose of visiting.
• Tourists are not allowed to extend their visa.
